Am I eligible for early cancellation?

Early cancellation policy for Shed medication subscriptions

Updated yesterday

Shed requires a two-month minimum commitment for all medication subscriptions. This article outlines the policies regarding early cancellation, exceptions to the two-month minimum, and refund eligibility.

Overview of the two-month minimum commitment

When you sign up for a Shed medication subscription, you agree to a two-month minimum commitment. This means:

  • You are not eligible to cancel your subscription until the two-month minimum is fulfilled.

  • Once your second payment has successfully processed, you become eligible to cancel your subscription.

Exceptions to the two-month minimum commitment

Shed understands that medical circumstances may arise that require early cancellation. Exceptions to the two-month minimum commitment can be made under the following conditions:

  1. Adverse side effects: If you experience adverse side effects and a healthcare provider determines that you should discontinue the medication, the provider can discontinue approval for the medication.

    In such cases:

    1. Your account can be made eligible for cancellation.

    2. A refund for a recent charge may be submitted for review by the compliance team.

  2. Doctor’s recommendation: If your doctor advises you to stop treatment, you can request an early cancellation by providing a note from your doctor confirming their recommendation. Once the note is received, the team can process the exception-based cancellation.

Additional information on subscription changes

If you switch programs or increase your dosage, the two-month minimum requirement does not reset. Once you have fulfilled the initial two-month commitment, you are not required to complete another two-month minimum for subsequent changes.
