What are Shed’s subscription, cancellation, and refund policies?

Overview

Shed programs operate on a subscription model to ensure continuity of your treatment and access to care. All programs include:

  • Access to prescribed medication (pending provider evaluation and approval)

  • Unlimited visits with licensed healthcare providers

  • Access to text-based health coaching

Subscriptions renew automatically depending on your program's billing cycle unless canceled according to the policies outlined below.


Subscription commitment and auto-renewal

  • Commitment period: All Shed subscriptions require a minimum commitment of two (2) full months. Early cancellation during this period does not release you from payment obligations and will not result in a refund or credit.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month (or every 28 days, depending on your plan). Your payment method on file will be charged unless you cancel according to the cancellation policy.


Cancellation policy

  • Standard subscriptions:

    • You may cancel your subscription after the 2-month minimum commitment.

    • Cancellations must be submitted at least 72 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month.

    • Cancellations submitted less than 72 hours before your billing date will take effect the next cycle.

  • Late cancellation requests (submitted within 72 hours of the next billing date) will result in the charge being processed, and the cancellation will only take effect for future renewals.


Refund policy

  • General rule: Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged.

  • Refunds are not issued if:

    • You fail to complete required follow-up appointments or refill request forms

    • You do not use coaching or provider services

    • You attempt to cancel before completing the 2-month minimum commitment

    • You cancel after the 72-hour cancellation window

  • If medication is not shipped due to incomplete actions (e.g., missing a refill form or required visit):

    • That month remains ineligible for a refund.

    • At Shed’s discretion, a one-time credit may be issued for a future shipment if your subscription remains active and requirements are completed.

    • Credits must be used within 365 days, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.

  • Approved Refunds (rare):

    • Processed within 30 days of verification.

    • Issued only to the original payment method.

    • Limited to the total paid for the subscription or eligible service fees within the first nine months, minus any discounts or promotions.

    • Incidental costs (labs, shipping, upgrades, add-ons) are not refundable.

  • Refund requests may be denied if cancellation requests are made within 72 hours of the scheduled charge. In such cases, the charge and corresponding order cannot be reversed or refunded, and the cancellation will only take effect for future renewals.

  • Refunds under the money-back guarantee may be denied if the customer has not met the nine-month eligibility period or has not adhered to program requirements, such as regular check-ins, correct medication use, and adherence to lifestyle and coaching guidance.

  • Alternative options when refunds are not possible include:

    • Requesting a shipment of medication corresponding to the charge.

    • Applying the charged amount as a credit toward a future billing date.

    • Requesting a Shed gift card to purchase supplements or apply toward a future order.


Payment and financial policies

  • Payment for services or medication is due at the time of order via the payment method on file.

  • Shed reserves the right to stop, pause, or cancel a program at any time.

  • Defaulted payments may result in finance charges, collection costs, or legal fees.

  • Insurance is not accepted for Shed services.


How to cancel:

To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to "My Subscriptions" in your Portal.

  2. Click "Treatment Details" on your prescription.

  3. On the top right corner, select “Manage Subscription.”

Important reminders

  • Cancel via the Patient Portal: Log in → “My Subscriptions” → “Manage Subscription.”

  • All cancellations must be confirmed before they are finalized.

  • Refunds and credits are not guaranteed and are only issued under the conditions outlined above.

  • By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to Shed’s financial, subscription, and cancellation policies.
