General Delivery Timelines

Once your prescription has been approved, your order will be processed by one of Shed’s partner pharmacies and shipped directly to your door. Delivery timelines can vary slightly depending on the medication type and pharmacy fulfillment speed:

  • Compounded medications: Typically process in 1–3 business days and arrive within 5–10 business days after shipping.

  • First orders: Your first shipment may take a little longer to process, since it requires initial provider approval and pharmacy coordination.

👉 Please note: partner pharmacies cannot ship to PO boxes, so make sure your address is accurate in your Shed portal.


How to Track Your Shipment

  • Text/Email Updates: Once your medication ships, you’ll receive a text or an email with a tracking number from the carrier (usually FedEx, UPS, or USPS).

  • No tracking received? If you haven’t received tracking details within the standard shipping timeline, please reach out to the Member Success Team through your Shed portal.


Common Causes of Delivery Delays

If your medication takes longer than expected, it’s often due to one of these reasons:

  • Pending provider consultation: Some programs or follow-up timelines require a provider visit before the pharmacy can ship.

  • Payment issues: If a payment method is declined or outdated, shipments may be paused until it’s resolved.

  • Pharmacy processing times: Each pharmacy follows strict protocols, and occasionally, processing or verification takes longer.

  • Incorrect shipping address: Orders may be delayed or misdelivered if your address is incomplete or inaccurate in your portal.


Troubleshooting Delivery Concerns

If your medication hasn’t arrived on time, here are steps to take:

  1. Log into the Shed Portal and review your treatment status under “My Treatments.”

  2. Check your email for tracking details and ensure your inbox settings aren’t filtering pharmacy or carrier updates.

  3. Verify your payment method is current and up to date in the portal.

  4. Confirm your shipping address matches your intended delivery location.

  5. Reach out to Shed Support via your portal if your order appears delayed or you still don’t have tracking after the standard shipping timeline.

Can I request expedited shipping?

Currently, partner pharmacies' processing times are on par with the pharmacies' expedited shipping options.

What if my package is lost in transit?

If your tracking shows no movement or your package is marked delivered but not received, contact Shed Support immediately. We will coordinate with the pharmacy and carrier to resolve the issue.

Why did my first order take longer than refills?

Your initial shipment often requires extra time for provider approval and pharmacy setup. Refills typically process faster once your treatment is established.

Do I need to request refills manually?

Your refill schedule depends on the follow-up cadence set by your licensed provider. Follow-ups are required at the intervals your provider determines in order to continue receiving refills. If you’re unsure or think you’re due for a refill, log into the Shed Portal and check under “My Treatments.”
