If you believe there’s an issue with your medication supply—such as receiving less than expected or running out early—don’t worry. Shed has clear steps to help resolve these concerns quickly.
Step 1: Double-Check First
Check your Shed Portal: Log in at portal.tryshed.com → go to “My Treatments” → click “View Treatment Info”. This shows your current dose, instructions, and upcoming steps.
Review your prescription label and instructions: Vials are rarely filled to the very top, but they are precisely measured. The amount inside may look low, but it is typically accurate.
Confirm your timeline: Make sure you’ve been dosing once per week and are on the correct schedule.
Step 2: Gather Documentation
If you believe you were truly shorted medication, Shed requires documentation before a replacement request can be reviewed. Please provide:
A picture of the vial showing the LOT number
A picture of the vial from the side (to show the remaining liquid)
A picture of your syringe pulled to your last prescribed dose
The number of injections you’ve already taken from this vial
How many units you were short of your last dose
Step 3: Submit Your Request
Log in to your Shed Portal and message the Member success team with your photos and details.
The Member Success team will confirm your dosage, review your images, and verify that your vial size matches your prescription.
If needed, we’ll communicate with the partner pharmacy directly.
⚠️ Important: Replacement requests are not guaranteed. Most partner pharmacies use automated machines with very low error rates.
Step 4: What to Expect if Approved for Replacement
Processing: Once the pharmacy confirms the discrepancy, your replacement request will be processed.
Shipping: Delivery timelines depend on the pharmacy, but most orders ship within 5–10 business days once approved.
Communication: You’ll be updated via text or email once the replacement is confirmed and a tracking number is available.
Limitations: Replacements are only approved for verified shortages or pharmacy errors. They cannot be guaranteed in cases of misdosing or early use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn’t my vial look full?
Vials are rarely filled to the top but are precisely measured by machines. This is normal.
What if I really am short?
Provide the required documentation (photos + details). Shed will review your request and coordinate with the pharmacy.
Can you guarantee I’ll get a replacement?
No. Replacements are pharmacy-dependent and not always approved. Shed can help advocate for you, but the final decision rests with the pharmacy.
What if I run out because I misdosed?
Replacement isn’t available in that case, but you can request an additional order (with provider approval).
✅ By following these steps, Shed can quickly investigate and, when appropriate, coordinate with the pharmacy to get you back on track. If you’re ever unsure, message the Member Success Team directly through your portal.
