We’re excited to support you on your health and weight management journey. This guide will walk you through the steps to get started with Shed.
Step 1: Complete the Intake Form
To begin, visit tryshed.com and fill out the intake form. This provides a healthcare provider with important information about your medical history.
Step 2: Provider Review
Based on your intake form and your state’s requirements, your consultation will happen in one of two ways:
Asynchronous Review: In many states, providers can review your intake form and determine eligibility without a video visit.
Video Consultation: In some states, a live video consultation with a licensed provider is required. If this applies to you, you’ll be prompted to schedule after submitting your form.
During your consultation, your provider will determine if you qualify for your requested treatment and pair you with the right weight-loss medication.
Step 3: Begin Treatment
Once approved, you’ll commit to a minimum two-month treatment plan with the support of your healthcare provider. You’ll also be paired with:
Member Success Managers – to guide you through the process and answer questions
Health Coaches (included in all VIP programs) – to help you stay on track and reach your goals
Text-Based Coaching Support
All Shed members are automatically enrolled in our text-based coaching program, which provides:
Free resources to support your health journey
Basic guidance on nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management
Occasional progress check-ins to help you stay on track
Bot-assisted support is available at any time

Your medication will typically arrive at your door within 5–10 business days after your order is processed.
Step 4: Ongoing Care
After your initial consultation, your ongoing care may include:
Support and follow-up from Member Success Managers
Check-ins from Health Coaches
Order confirmations and updates via text message
Additional guidance if further evaluation or questions arise
Free follow-up appointments with providers and nurses as needed

Shed is currently available in all 50 U.S. states (Including DC)
